Ride the Cyclone tells the story of six teens in a small Canadian town choir killed in a horrific rollercoaster accident. They emerge in a purgatory-like afterlife: in an old, likely abandoned carnival storage warehouse. A fortune telling machine (Karnak, whose death he sees coming via rat chewing through his wires) informs them that one of them may be granted life once again… but there’s a catch.

As there always is.

An earwormy score by Jacob Richmond & Brooke Maxwell twists through several genres and styles, including prog rock, highly autotuned hip hop, and poppy musical theatre. From extremely camp parody to heartfelt reflections on the meaning of life, this show truly takes you... on a ride.
